THE BOYS ON WESLEY DESOUZA – JEREMY: Florida’s Brazilian-born American wannabe Aussie, Wesley Desousa scored the wave of the day at Sales. To master this wave you need to forget about the rocks racing towards you at the end section and deal with them when you get there. He made this one and got blown out 20 metres down the line.

BLAKE: This was a fun little peak which was good for turns. It was two foot max when all of a sudden this thing reared up out of nowhere. I’m sitting in the face just out of frame. I kid you not I could see straight through that thing. It was the only one of the day.

JEREMY: Aganoa beach resort on Savaii, this is the the view from your Falei bed every morning. This photo shows the left running off the right, which on its day shows a very close resemblance to a shorter version of G-land.
