So what is the worst season for surfing? Is the climate so unpredictable that there is no worst season? Does it just depend on the year.

Like Indo for example. Traditionally the dry season is the best time of year but I’ve regularly heard of surfers getting great waves during the wet season.

I’m not sure where I’m going with this but I’m starting to think that the “Winter is great, Summer is dribble” mentality isn’t true.

Depends where you go, if your talking just Bali then wet season means more favourable winds on the east coast but its going to be smaller, the SW swell trains just arent as regular. North coast Indo, Molukus etc the wwet season (Nov-March) is the only time you will score swell - same energy that is smashing Oahu now. You go there in the dry (Jun-Sep) all you will catch is Hepatitis :)
