View Full Version : Penny Boards
I just bought 2`Penny boards`and`have fallen in love with riding them.I love my Nickel better than my sons smaller Penny ......although if something ever happens to my board then the Penny will do. Anyone out here had similiar experiences.......I get a lot of people asking where I got my board from.......Living in Canada there arent any around that I have seen.....

what do you mean similar experience??. i dont get it. those little skateboards are pretty much growing from trees here.
In saying similar experience, I mean having picked up riding a skater after many years of not riding one. I think I last rode a skater 20 years ago. I am just like a big kid all over again

I'm in the same boat. As a grom I followed like a sheep into skating but after a few good stacks, I gave up the tricks and stuck to street surfing. the problem was, the skateboards weren't designed to do that. They had hard wheels that would slide out and not grip through a carve, and two kicks, so if your front foot slid too far forward you'd stack it.
A few years ago cruisers came back into fashion and I got back into skating on a longboard. It was great fun, and I still use one, but I recently got myself a Penny and fell in love with skating again. Man there are some good bush barrels around...
Give me a "Surfa Sam" longboard any day......Old school.
