Thundercloud

One of the most historical days of surfing at Fiji's Cloubreak is about to be told in Thundercloud.

In June, 2012 Fiji’s Cloudbreak delivered one of surfing’s most historical days. A momentus swell hit during the Volcom Fiji Pro window and it looked set that the top 34 would have to face the fear of annihilation in the ultimate test. However in a decision that divided surf fans, the contest was called off. A select few paddled out anyway to join big wave surfing royalty ready to push themselver over the ledge.

This is story of Thundercloud, that traces the history of one of the world’s most controversial and revered surfspots through to this epic day. Directed, produced, filmed and edited over three years by Talon Clemow, this independent production by One Palm Media.

Screening Thursday 8:15pm on 13th February 2014 @ the Cremorne Hayden Orpheum Theatre in Sydney, tickets are $20 and can be purchased on the door.

Pre-book tickets at [email protected]

All tickets purchased will be eligible for prize giveaways including return flights from Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne courtesy of Fiji Airways.

Lucky door prizes include a GoPro 3+ Hero Black edition and more.
