Be Amazed: JJF Drops New Clip

John John drops another brain-melter; underscores home break advantage.

“Home is my favorite place on earth,” drawls the best surfer on earth. “It’s the place I can come back to and recharge. It’s about being with your friends every day and surfing and sailing and fishing and diving and all these different kinds of stuff.” John John Florence sounds characteristically humble and easily relatable introducing the latest installment in his web series Twelve. But don’t be misled. By “different kinds of stuff” John apparently means landing bone-jarring rotors at Pipeline, viciously scalping the summits of Haleiwa, paddling Jaws and pulling into towering outer reef closeouts for shits and giggles. Currently ranked number two in the world and with Teahupoo and Pipe still to run John has never looked so good for a world title. These consistently stunning ten minutes of virtuoso surfing are further proof that he’s the most exciting surfer in the world, that he’s still improving and that he has a massive home break advantage come December.
