First of all the Dazzler is meant to be the smallest board that you could ride. The polystyrene core a necessity for paddle and the width right through the planshape another attempt at maximizing float in something so small. Having achieved this the actual design is primarily aimed at creating as much speed and run as possible with the notion that you could not possibly make a board this small – stiff! The straightish planshape will run. The flat bottom rocker will run. The deepish concave will run. The more parallel tow in of the quad fins- will run. Even the use of bigger quad fins all round since they are clustered up- will make the Dazzler run like a rabbit !

“I don’t really ride thrusters often these days so I was excited to ride this as a quad as they generally have a lot of speed off the mark. It felt light under the arm and not having a stringer gave it a real springy feel.”
“The Bourton paddled really well and surfing it felt a bit longer than a 5’2. It’s quite a dynamic board and having the quad set up gave it a nice mix between liveliness and hold, I really liked this one.”
“I think you could ride it in really small one foot waves and quite possibly way overhead. It’s a really well rounded board that suits a wide range of conditions. This is a great all round summer board.”
