Jackson Coffey, Dial A Spin, D-Bah

The pin up for surfing's generation next.

Jackson Coffey, 18, from Coolangatta, is leading the charge as one the next generation of Cooly kids. Like his sisters, Holly-Sue & Ellie-Jean, he too understands the mechanics of social media with the Coffey clan having amassed over 400,000 followers on Instagram. This is a new era my friends and whether or not you agree with the ‘broadcasting generation’, it is here to stay. “It was a bit of an unexpected session as I didn’t get down to D-Bah until 10am and I thought it would be small and windy,” said Simon Muirhead who snapped this image. “I got down there and Mitch Parkinson and Jackson were out there ripping some nice three foot faces with a light offshore …. Jackson was down lovers rock end busting out backside airs.”
