"The wind today was the strongest in the three weeks i've been here. The had dropped, but by mid morning through the afternoon the swell came up a bit. Off The Wall was dishing up some fun A-frames all along the beach. Due to all the sand, Pipeline and Backdoor were non-existent. I have never seen so much sand build up in 25 winters visiting North Shore.
Gabriel Medina and Ryan Callinan were both going bananas, doing the biggest airs down at insanities – the wave situated between Rockpiles and OTW.
Tomorrow is supposed to be smaller, but a decent swell is hitting friday and saturday. This should be enough to finish the sunset contest off … hopefully." – Bosko
