Brett Burcher, Mad Monday, NSW

Mad Monday still stands out as one of the best days on the east coast this winter.

Mad Monday remains one of the best days on the east coast this winter. The men that frequent the south coast are a hardened breed of chargers, underground lords and slab specialists. Brett Burcher, pictured here, is one such fine fellow who stood out during the session. ”I heard from Russ Bierke that the afternoon before was out of control and huge! Recalls photographer Mikey McArthur. As we arrived sure enough it was massive and clean. We headed out and within the first half an hour all the local boys, Russ, Burch, Marshy, Whippy and Vaughnie were dominating. Even though it was 12 – 15ft on the sets, the boys wore a few but still managed to wrangle a couple nugs.”
