Today’s FREE WALLPAPER comes with a bonus blog about surfing mice?

The allure of tiny tubes (like this one in Nate Smith’s photo) is the same as those that break on a much larger scale. No you can’t realistically picture yourself inside the teeny twisters, but with a little childish imagination one can transport themselves into the body of a much smaller being and suspend reality for a brief day-dreamy moment.

There was a time, some decades ago now,  a school buddy and I (both hopelessly hooked on surfing), neglected our studies to shape and then glass tiny surfboards with the sole purpose of taking mice surfing. The mice (much to the horror of our mother’s) breed in glass fish tanks. Breeding the soon to surf rookie astronauts was easy – mice love to procreate. The shaping of small foam off cuts also relatively easy… launching the mice down the line on a boat wake grinder successfully? Not so easy. Sorry about that little guys.
