Just In: Crescent Head Shark Attack

Surfer involved in a serious shark attack at Crescent Head Point.

Reports have just come in that a man was attacked by a shark at Crescent Head Point this afternoon. Although details are yet to emerge it’s believed the man incurred a significant injury to his arm.

While shark sightings are not infrequent at the popular holiday destination, the point at Crescent does not have a reputation for shark attacks.

The incident has already caused a ripple of concern amongst local surfers and those who visit the popular holiday destination regularly. While a large Bronze Whaler was sighted in the area in recent weeks it is not clear if it is the shark responsible for the attack.
