There’s a mysterious quality about Western Australia. The skies are bigger, the stars shine brighter and the waves just throw harder. Northwest WA gatekeeper Kerby Brown is no stranger to getting tubular and when he knew this left would be firing he made sure he was in the spot. Dunsburough based photographer Jamie Scott flew up north on a hit and run mission and had this to say of the session.
“The weather was looking crap at home so Dino Adrian and myself hooked up with surfer and pilot mate Luke Wyllie, jumped in his “Bug Smasher” Cessna 210 and flew 1000km north for the day where we met up with Kit Rayner, Mike Riley, Kerby and Cortney Brown. When we rocked up it was pumping and we were straight out there into the hollow drain pipes, we stayed out until lunchtime then hit the road, we were back at home in Margs by 6pm. It was a great day with just a few mates.”
