Matt Banting will qualify for the world tour this season. The Port Macquarie rising star currently leads the QS and will be competing as a Wildcard in France when the Quiksilver Pro commences tomorrow. He will face Matt Wilkinson and Kelly Slater in Round 1 adding more experience to his resume. However before heading to France he had time for one last surf at home, linking up veteran surf photographer, Peter ‘Bosko’ Boskovic to loosen those limbs. “It wasn’t the best conditions but Matt was just on fire,” recalls Bosko. “He’s blowing up right now and going to be a force on tour next year.” With nineteen heat winds already under his belt this year we couldn’t agree more.
