Peats Ridge the sustainable arts & music festival that pulls the weird, wonderful and recyclable collection of individuals. |
Peats Ridge the sustainable arts & music festival is different. Located just inland from the central coast beaches,
it pulls the weird, wonderful and recyclable collection of individuals and artists together to form a friendship of celebration
and harmonization to see in the New Year with three days music, art and tomfoolery.
Jeff Martin formely of The Tea Party and now solo (and rocking with new group Armada).
Best part about the Peats Ridge festival is the entertainment, 10 stages giving host to the killer headline acts like the
UK’s cosmic Lamb, the Tea Party’s Jeff Martin and Blue King Brown shaking the new year count down on the main
stage and many other domestic talents including Tom Ugly, Aleesha Dibbs and The Strides to name a few.
My name is?
Color, glitter and costumes were the best way to blend into the liberated atmosphere resonating from the armpits
of the lovemaking crowd. The Bohemian Love Theatre was a hot spot serving up Golden Feather’s Recipes of the
R/Evolution daily, igniting the glam-rock-opera performance to boiling point and crowd weak at the knees with the
Barons of Tang screaming deathly vocals with accordion in hand.
Feeling it.
The Glenworth Valley plays host to the event site, a mere 3000 acres of lush green fields and rainforest with the
Hawkesbury River winding its way through the camping and festival grounds for visitors to float and refresh along
the banks while sounds fill the air.
Tom Ugly.
Awarded for many green initiatives the Festival features 100% biodiesel generators, odour free composting toilets
(contestable), grey water management, container deposit system (extra tax), organic waste composting, reclaimed
materials for decoration, certified organic food at our stalls, biodegradable cutlery, onsite bike couriers, natural ink
printing and chemical free cleaning products.
Everyone’s special at Peats Ridge.
So get along next year there’s nothing to loose, plenty of freaks and fun with friends.
