Everyone’s favourite West Australian, Taj Burrow, has just announced his retirement. Taj dropped the news live on the morning show with Ross Williams and Ronnie Blakey. After a long and stellar career, and now entering into fatherhood, it’s not exactly a shock to see TB calling it a day. Although many thought he would see out the year. TB has chosen Fiji as his last event – definitely not a bad spot to hang up the jersey, and a smart move by Taj. One can only imagine the poolside blowout that will go down on Namotu after his last heat.
Wouldn’t you just love to see him take out his home event to ice his career.
