Yesterday a sprinkling of pros awoke to a pumping Superbank. Many had hung around for the much hyped Cyclone Pam that never really materialised for the Quiksilver Pro. Others were in town for the Kirra Teams Challenge that went down over the weekend. As lines of east swell began pouring into Snapper Rocks surfers were drawn like bees to a honeypot. It was thethe first real signs of perfection seen for close to a month. Notable CT heads included John John Florence, Jordy Smith, Matt Banting, Brett Simpson and Josh Kerr. One of the standouts of the session was Narrabeen's Davey Cathels who had some kind of magnetic pull on the bombs. Veteran Tracks photographer Peter 'Joli' Wilson was on hand to capture the action.
