SHAPER'S COMMENTS

The Pocket Rocket is the culmination of our work with many WSL surfers, primarily Kolohe Andino. The board features a moderate continuous rocker, with no discernible flip or break, and more curve in the center of the board (with less in the tips) than usual. The deep concave and curvy rail rocker work well to provide lift and pop in even smallish, sloppy surf. The conservative overall rocker and outline lends itself to a feeling of confidence to push hard in good, powerful sections as well. It's fun in small snappy beach breaks and excels in chest high to 1.5x overhead. Matt " Mayhem" Biolos

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

I’ve ridden one Lost before and it went really good. This one feels more suited to me though, so I’m amping to ride it. It’s my type of thickness and outline. I’m going to try and ride the Lost in fun, peaky waves. I can picture it flaring off ramps and driving hard into turns. The Lost looks and feels like a solid, fast and responsive board. It feels really light and playful for rippable waves. In saying that, it also feels like it will adapt well in any type of conditions. An all-round high performance shorty I’m calling.

TESTER'S COMMENTS

The Lost felt so alive. Really loose and fast. It accelerated in the pocket and provided flare off the top. I got to do some throw tails on the Lost that I was stoked on. Really whippy off the lip, but also loads of drive off the bottom too. I was lucky to surf the Lost in a rippable beachy setup and a perfectly running right reef. It felt good in the barrel and paddled well to give me early entry into some drainers. The majority of the volume was through the chest, which I think gave me that paddle power, but it tapered off nicely into the tail and nose. It never felt out of place in hollow, sucky conditions. Lost is a huge name in the surfboard industry, I always see people riding them and they always seem to be going sick, so I was stoked to ride one. A really responsive, lightweight board that I was able to push where I wanted and it did the rest for me. A great well-rounded board. Good for barrels, airs and turns, definitely my type of board.
