Ride this board if...
You want to have more fun than anyone else in the water, this board is fast, smooth and holds its line through full rail turns.
Under the hood...
Still probably the most versatile design of all surfboard crafts. If you were stranded on an island for the next 10 years and were only allowed one board this would be my recommendation. Tested from Cardiff Reef to Uluwatu, Waikiki to Pipe, this is a very trustworthy design. Double foil fins with low cant and toe, complimented by the twin pin tail allow this board to reach high speeds and ensure hold whenever on the rail. Rolled nose to concaved tail gives this board a great feel in all conditions. This will blow the hair off your head and most definitely get you out of bed. Another masterpiece from Chris Christenson that you need to get your hands on.
This board is the same dimensions as a fish I have that I really like, so I was definitely looking forward to getting it wet. It has your classic fish outline, with a deep, single concave and swallow tail, but came out a touch fuller than I had anticipated. I was praying for the right conditions to get this in the water, as I knew that’s what it would really excel in and we got just that. From the get-go this board worked exactly how I wanted, with no adjusting needed. I rode it at a fast point break type wave and it really did come into its own. It paddled well and was a breeze to lay over on rail. Despite its size, it held in fine at high speed and was a really easy board to ride. Perfect for anyone chasing effortless speed in a classic fish outline.
