Rincon – The Queen Awakens

Fine work by the Channel Islands team at pumping Rincon.

Rincon is one of those waves that holds mythical status for surfers, due in no small part to early footage of Tom Curren's inimitable flow on the wave, and in more modern times, the likes of Dane Reynolds, Bobby Martinez and Conner Coffin lighting it up.

A large swell recently lit the place up, and the Channel Islands team, including The Gudang clan, Lakey Peterson, Sage Erickson and Parker Coffin, took full advantage of the walls on offer.

And yes, because we know you’re wondering, there are a couple of waves of Dane in the mix.
