RVCA – Aloha!

Herbie’s quirky crew descends upon the Nth Shore

Led by evergreen Godfather, Herbie Fletcher, team RVCA have managed to assemble an eclectic posse of team riders. From the interpretive wave dance of Alex Knost to the polished, power carves of WCT returnee Riccardo Christie, RVCA have their bases covered. Like the team, this clip has a jazzy/punk kind of vibe. This one takes a little while to get warmed up but there are some quality moments featuring guys like Jay Davies, who hulks his way through a couple of big sections. Meanwhile, it’s left to Herbie and Knost to breathe a little life and authenticity into the Aloha theme. If RVCA are going for the ‘keep it real’ kinda deal it would be refreshing to see them reveal just a little more about their quirky band of rippers.
