The wedge has captured the imagination of surfers for well over fifty years now. From the earliest surf flicks featuring neck breaking body whomping antics, through to the modern guard of kamikaze bodyboarders, soft stick riders and even the odd fibreglass commando, there’s one thing has remained constant. that being the delightful sense of schadenfreude that occurs from watching people being vaporised by 10 foot wedges in inches of water.
