A Dream To Share

Naxto Gonzalez returns to his azure desert jewel, and takes a few friends to share the riches.

This week we saw Mick Fanning return to his secret roping right – The Snake, and now Naxto Gonzalez releases an edit from his mysto wave. Is this purely coincidence? Or does this tell us the two waves both broke during the same swell? Are they nearby to each other?

Whatever the case it looks like Naxto and co. got the better deal this time around. While the Snake barely woke from hibernation, the European contingent scored some of the heaviest sand-spitting tubes we’ve seen in quite some time. Y

ou’ve got to hand it to them, they charged. While it’s easy to mind-surf from behind a monitor. To actually make those takeoffs irl is a feat in itself. And to commit to pulling in over inches of water with no medical help nearby takes some nerve.
