Best Angourie Ever?

Monty Webber captures Anga’ doing its thing during the east coast weather bomb.

There’s an undeniable romance about Angourie and its hollow horseshoe bowls.

Maybe we’re all still a little hung up on Morning of The Earth or perhaps the wave itself just bends and funnels in a way that has infinite appeal to the surfing imagination. This enticingly shot clip by Monty Webber captures Anga’ during the famed ‘Black North East’ swell that hit back in June. While compelling, the footage probably doesn’t quite do justice to the magnitude of the waves on a day many called

Angourie’s finest in decades.

Grab yourself a cup of tea, kick back and wish yourself away to the north coast.

Featuring Dan Ross, Chris Zaffis and a host of others.

Footage by Monty Webber.
