Dakoda Walters X Surf Lakes

The young Australian ripper enjoys a session riding the pool’s best right.

Pools man, over the last couple years they’ve burrowed their way into surfing, and it looks as if they are here to stay. Kelly’s pool, Wavegarden, Waco and Australia’s own Surf Lakes.

Here Dakoda Walters enjoys a session at the right which breaks off Occy’s left, which is apparently the best wave in the pool. It was just freshly uploaded by Surf Lakes to their Vimeo account with no title, so forgive us if it quickly gets made private.

It definitely looks fun, and Surf Lakes must be awarded bonus points for the natural looking aesthetic that comes across in the footage. If you didn’t know it was a pool you’d be forgiven for thinking you were watching footage of a dreamy beach break. Just don’t look toward the centre of the lake where the steam driven apocalyptic plunger is doing its thing.
