Oh how us east coast Australian surfers thrill at the sight of a cyclone winding its way south. Forgetting momentarily the heartbreak and damage they wreak on out Pacific neighbours, we become giddy at knowing that before long our coastlines will be gifted endless lines of swell.
It’s the same for our East Coast, USA brethren. Recently Hurricane Florence tracked it’s way north from the tropics, delivering fun waves to the most maligned of USA surfing states, Florida.
