With so many events and so much pressure, it’s hard for surfers on the QS to get much time at home.
But Moroccan surfer Ramzi Boukiam managed to break free of the grind and fly home for the last swell of the winter in his home waters. Judging from the clip it was a very smart move! As stoked as he was after these sessions Ramzi still managed to talk it down saying, “It was super fun and there were a couple of really good ones, but the wave gets way crazier than this.” Perhaps that’s a coping mechanism to rationalize leaving to hit the QS grind again?
