We’ve got to be honest we’d not previously heard of Koldo Illumbe, the goofy-footed star of this clip. From what we can gather he’s half Basque half Balinese, the son of the owner of the King Millenium charter Boat, is 15-years-of-age and made the surprisingly well-timed move to Bali just before COVID took out international travel.
After watching, we’ve also learned that the kid can thread a mean tube, many of which were captured during the recent Monsoon season at a few rare waves, which makes the clip worth viewing on its own.
