16-Year-old Baron Mamiya isn’t scared. Raised on the North Shore, heavy waves are part of the territory. Growing up Baron devised a scale for himself, he could surf waves as big as he was old – 3ft waves at 3-years-old, 6ft at six-years-old and so on. Judging by the charging on display in this clip, his regimen has served him well. We can’t wait until he hits 20!
