Do you remember the Margaret River Pro, the WSL event that was prematurely shut down due to active sealife? If so, then you may remember young local wildcard Kael Walsh throwing caution to the wind during his heats, dispatching Matt Wilkinson in round two and licking his lips at the prospect of doing the same to Julian Wilson in round three.
But he never got the chance when the event was axed. It was a bittersweet moment for the young charger, doing damage in a CT event but not getting to see how his journey played out.
With word now coming through that the event will be completed at Uluwatu after Keramas wraps, we’ll get to see him in action again.
