Kai Lenny’s High Performance Tow Sessions

Strap in and flip out with Kai.

Kai Lenny rides the ocean in any way he sees fit. Paddling into bombs at Jaws and Mavericks, foiling between Hawaiian Islands using a wing suit, and towing some of the biggest waves on the planet.

Even when the waves are mere-mortal size, Kai ain’t shy to ride it how he wants. Take this clip for instance, in which Kai works on his small wave strap-in surfing. He nails flip after flip and rotation after rotation, all with his feet tucked inside straps.

It’s a move that might seem cringe to a lot of progressive surfers, but Kai doesn’t care, and neither should he. Anyone who does the shit he does in the big stuff can get away with water he wants to. Are you gonna tell him any different?
