Kirra, Snapper & Greenmount Turn On

Thanks to Cyclone Marcia.

Yesterday Kirra, Snapper & Greenmount were straight classic. Thanks to Cyclone Marica the fabled Gold Coast points, and the perfect sand, produced some of the best waves so far this season. On hand were all the usual suspects, Mick Fanning, Bede Durbidge, Steph Gilmore, Mitch Parkinson and a handful of freesurfers and CT rookies. Kiwi Ricardo Christie looked very comfortable behind the rock and Jay Davis showed why he’s still one of the best freesurfers in the world. Fingers crossed the current weather activity up north doesn’t disrupt the bank and we see more of this at the Quiky Pro.
