We all remember the swell event that bombarded Indonesia a few weeks back, you know the one where the boat went over the falls at Nias and for 48 hours it was featured in every second photo on Instagram?
Well it wasn’t just boats running the gauntlet at the famous northern Indonesian right. On hand to take on some of the ugliest waves ever seen was a band of both professional and amateur nutcases, eager to throw themselves over the ledge into the blackened caves a long way from help.
Hawaiian Tyler Newton was among those in attendance and he just dropped this edit from the swell.
