Mick Fanning – Where the Water is Greener

Mick Fanning free to roam on the whim of swell and wind.

“The amazing thing about not knowing where you’re going is that you don’t have an end date. You never know when you’re actually going to get there, you’re just sitting around and going with the flow.”

Mick Fanning

After more than two decades dictated by heat sirens, contest scaffolding and tour schedules, Mick Fanning has ditched the jersey and gone on The Search.

Mick’s first hit and run mission looked like a bunch of fun and it seems he was relishing a state of mind where he could make it up as he went along.

Look out for the Tracks, Mick Tribute issue, which features the stories behind his career, the hilarious highlights from his retirement dinner and the best moments from his latest Search mission.

On stands 28th May.
