Thanks to COVID-19 Inodonesia has once again become a place we can only dream about, however, signs indicate the surfing and travel restrictions are beginning to loosen up. To help fuel the fantasy we thought we’d take you back to 2016 when Tracks travelled to the Mentawais with a young crew of gifted surfers and sampled the best the region has to offer. Any of the surfers will tell you they scored some of the best waves of their lives at a long, roping left and a notoriously heavy right. After the trip, Connor O’Leary and Wade Carmichael soon went on to become CT graduates.
