Mitch Parko Parts Ways With Billabong … Drops Epic Clip.

Another long-time surfing relationship bites the dust.

Is no relationship in surfing safe? The rate of break-ups and divorces in the surfing world are reaching Hollywood-esque like proportions! The latest in the string of surfers/companies severing ties is Mitch Parkinson and Billabong. The Parkinson name is synonymous with Bong, so if poor old Mitch could hold onto his contract, even with the weight of his cousin Joel’s influence, what hope is there?

“After recently parting ways with Billabong, Mitch came to me with a hard drive of footage that had never seen the light of the day and was keen to drop and edit,” Says Owen Milne, the man who stitched together this fine clip. “We filmed some sessions around home and came up with this!”

Let's hope someone fills that lonely white expanse on the nose of Mitch's surfboard soon.
