Much has been made about the influence of cult surf film, Morning Of The Earth. A time when the surfing was pure and the counter-culture was in full bloom. Recently a short documentary about its impact on surf culture in Australia was produced by the Opera House ahead of the premiere of sorta-sequel, Spirit of Akasha. It includes insightful interviews with original director Alby Falzon, ‘Akasha’ director Andrew Kidman, plus surfers Creed McTaggart and Noa Deane.
