Pipe Flashback!

Watch Jake ‘The Snake’ Paterson take down Bruce Irons and win the 1998 Pipe Masters.

Disagreeable onshore trades have kept us all on tenterhooks during the opening three days of the 2018 Pipe Masters window. We may get a start to the title race showdown tomorrow, but it’s not guaranteed.

While we all impatiently wait, why don’t we all take a trip down memory lane and relive a classic Pipe Masters moment through the lens of Australian film maker Justin Gane. And below hear from Jake himself about the day.

The year was 1998 and Jake Paterson was trailing Bruce Irons in the final as the clock neared zero. Right on the buzzer Jake stroked into a hail Mary Backdoor attempt, navigating a thick tube before being huffed into the history books and glory.
