In the last decade or more, progression in surfing has usually equated to manoeuvres of the aerial variety. However, that all changed when in 2017 John John Florence paddled out at Margaret River on his Pyzel Ghost for the Drug Aware Pro and proceeded to put on a display of rail surfing, the likes of which had never been seen before.
