It’s hard to imagine that Steph Gilmore only just rode her first wave at J-Bay. The two have seemed destined for one another for so many years – all that grace married with those flawless J-bay ribbons. Admittedly Tom Curren, another style icon, was also a late starter at Jeffrey’s and that relationship between surfer and wave evolved into something special. We’re looking forward to seeing more of Steph’s interpretation of the fabled right hand point.
