It felt like there was a time a few years ago when giant Teahupoo sessions were happening every other day. But now it feels like it’s been a while since we’ve seen a clip featuring genuinely big waves at the Tahitian slab.
That all changed this week when a solid swell rolled headlong into the region. A bunch of big wave Daves descended on the wave, joined by the local chargers, and together they partook in a Chopes session for the ages.
