The Christian Fletcher Files – Family, Injuries and Juggling

The final chapter in our three part series with surfing’s aerial pioneer.

The final instalment in our three part series with Christian Fletcher delves into the Fletcher family dynasty. From father Herbie to brother Nathan, Christian has had no shortage of mentors. “I’m super stoked and super lucky to have him as a brother and a friend,” says Fletcher on Nathan. “He’s really gnarly…he’s gnarly as it gets.” Few characters as electrifying as Fletcher in and out of the water that have stood the test of time. “Surfing has given me a great life,” he says with conviction. “I’m super stoked. Normally I’ve always got a smile on my face, life’s bitchin dude.” In true Fletcher style as our interview came to a close Christian shared his juggling tricks with The Ed in a final display of free-spirited spontaneity that has been the trademark of his career.

A huge thanks to the boys at 3D Fins for helping us make this series happen.
