Reef Heazlewood is an 18-year-old goofyfooter who hails from the gloriously tropical Sunshine Coast of Queensland. Reef has been plugging away on the QS for a couple of years now and is already making ground on the long road to the top tier.
However, Reef also had other goals in 2017. One of those was to spend the year piecing together an edit to showcase his surfing outside the confines of the contest scene. Reef teamed up with filmer Dan Scott and the two began filming whenever they could, even undertaking a strike mission to Raglan – a bucket list trip for Reef.
The results are impressive, and we’ll be sure to see more of Reef over the coming years.
