The swell was forecast to be a memorable one and it didn’t disappoint. As the the first lines of the swell arrived in Indonesia on Thursday, we watched as Jack Robinson threaded his way to victory at the Rip Curl Cup held at pumping Padang Padang.
The sea was alive, but it was only a tase of the giant lines steaming toward Bali and Indonesia. In this clip we see Uluwatu transformed into a xxl venue on Friday, the day after the Rip Curl Cup wrapped up.
Wouldn’t we have all loved to see the Uluwatu event run at this size. Now that would be entertainment!
