If you were a Chiropractor in the Newport Beach area, you’d be wise to make your way to The Wedge every time there was a swell. A pocket full of business cards ready to be dispersed among the twisted and maimed.
However, for those of us simply watching, The Wedge provides ultimate sadistic surfing entertainment. Splayed bodies flying through the air before being smashed in inches of water. It’s was a go-to in surf movies for decades, cheap laughs sure to get the crowd hooting and hollering.
And we’re pleased to say it still works.
