Watch: Behind the Pipe Master’s Bubble with Griff Colapinto

Nasal probing and deft tube-riding with the current world no.17

We all watched the Pipe Masters. The on-again, off-again event that almost never was. The whole thing held together by a fragile Covid-19 bubble that threatened to burst at any moment. Here Griff Colapinto takes us behind the shiny wall of the WSL’s bubble and gives us a look at his experience during the Pipe Masters. He ended up with an equal 17th placing, a rank not befitting the standout season the young Californian is having.

Also featured is a bunch of fun board shredding before the comp, and the swell that could’ve been, which hit the North Shore during the suspension of the Pipe Masters.
