Watch: Charly Quivront’s highly enviable year in ‘Eclosion’

Dive in for pumping Indo, Europe, and Barbados.

A lot of the recent headlines in the world of surfing have been concerned with the current bloodletting of surfers by their sponsors – the majority of team Hurley, Wilko, Alana and Nikki by Rip Curl, Taj by Billabong – There are still a few surfers making dreams come true on their sponsor's dime.

Frenchman and Volcom rider Charly Quivront is one of the aforementioned surfers, and here he delivers an impressive 2019 highlight reel named ‘Eclosion’, which strangely enough means the emergence of an adult insect from its pupal case.

We’re not sure of the relevance of the title, but what we are sure of is that we are green with envy over some of the waves Charly got to sample during the last year, which includes some Barbados magic.
