Watch: Ever Wondered What it’s Like to Go Over the Falls at Massive Jaws?

Nathan Florence answers the question for us with this footage.

In early December, Jaws lit up like a freshly decorated Christmas tree. A giant swell ploughed directly into the swell window for the Maui monster, and as always, Nathan Florence was one of the first to jump across from Oahu to get involved.

Nathan’s ever-present Go-Pro also made the trip with him, this time affixed firmly to the nose of his Pyzel Padillac. The footage he captured allows us mere mortals to experience things we’d never ever would, nor want to. Like getting caught inside by a monster cleanup set, or air-dropping from the lip of a 30-ft double-up and having the wave land squarely on our head.

We can only thank Nate, for selflessly sacrificing himself to satisfy our schadenfreude.
