Watch: Five Minutes in the New Wavegarden With Your Favourite Surfers

Gotta be honest … it’s looking pretty damn fun!

So earlier this week Wavegarden dropped a teaser clip of their new Wavegarden Cove – A better hollower version of their previous offering – and able to pump out a staggering 1000 waves per hour.

The teaser left much to the imagination, but it did show some hollow chlorinated nugs. Not quite on Kelly’s level but pretty damn good.

Now the full five-minute edit has dropped and boy oh boy, does Kelly have some competition on his hands! Although not as mind-bendingly perfect as Kelly’s wave, it has to be said it looks damn fun, and almost has a more ‘real’ quality about it.

A wedgey take off into the tube followed by multiple turn sections, and the best bit, before you’ve even finished there’s already another identical wave peeling off behind you. There’s no downtime at all, which is where Wavegarden have KS Wave Co. by the short and curlys. According to many sources, Kelly’s pool is currently able to produce only one wave every 7-10 minutes.

Let’s be honest here though. Forget this is a pool and you rocked up to your local doing this, you’d be pretty stoked no?
