Watch: Here’s how it feels to surf the Mentawai Alone During Covid-19

Anthony Fillingim scores firing Bankvaults with one other surfer.

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, we’re total suckers for raw clips. Especially one of this caliber. In it, Costa Rican surfer Anthony Fillingim, who is currently stranded in the Mentawai while the pandemic nix’s international travel, scores an unbelievable session at empty and firing Bankvaults, which was captured by Kandui Villas’ own Justis St John.

If lockdown has the travel bug biting, this may be painful viewing, but at least we can live vicariously through Anthony here.
