For most surfers, a strike mission to surf Italy isn’t at the top of the bucket list. Especially for us Australians, Indo is closer, way cheaper, and you’re guaranteed better waves. But whether you’re a food and wine lover, or are after a more cultural experience, a stop-off in Italy on that dream around-the-world trip is worth considering.
